Responsive Feeding Course
Healthy Kids, Healthy Future (Nemours Children's Health)
The Responsive Feeding module is a highly interactive online course for early care and education providers (Head Start and Early Head Start teachers, family child care providers, child care providers) that educates on responsive feeding best practices, and on how to implement responsive feeding best practices in ECE settings and includes knowledge assessments throughout to support learning. The module was field tested with 30 center and family child care providers and reflects evidence based best practices as outlined in the 2017 Healthy Eating Research report “Feeding Infants and Toddlers: Using the Latest Evidence in Child Care Settings”.
The module takes approximately 40 minutes to complete or users can complete one chapter at a time. The Responsive Feeding course works best on a desktop or laptop in Chrome, Firefox, or Safari browsers.
There is a certificate of completion available to print out at the end of the module in addition to lists of supplemental resources.

Teacher Training Module: Supporting Grieving Students in Schools
Coalition to Support Grieving Students
The Coalition to Support Grieving Students is a collaboration of education and school professional organizations dedicated to ensuring grieving students receive support and care. The coalition offers free professional development presentations on supporting grieving students.
- Part 1: Helps staff understand the experience of the grieving student and includes information about how children understand death and express their grief.
- Part 2: Presents practical suggestions about how school staff can initiate the conversation and offer support to the grieving student.
- Part 3: Shares practical guidance about how to coordinate resources and manage special issues while you support the grieving child.
- Combined Abbreviated Module: Combines highlights of Parts 1-3 to offer an abbreviated training opportunity.
Watch Me! Celebrating Milestones and Sharing Concerns

Celebrating Milestones and Sharing Concerns, helps you fulfill this role by providing tools and best practices for monitoring the development of children in your care and talking about it with their parents.
