Oral Health Promotion in Child Care

This self-learning module uses materials from The National Maternal and Oral Health Resource Center, enabling early learning practitioners to understand principles of oral health and share information with the children and families they encounter. The module reviews development and the importance of baby teeth, importance of dental exams, cause and prevention of tooth decay and the benefit and promotion of oral health/toothbrushing activities in child care programs.
