When you are ready to request a workshop, complete a Request for Training Event form found in the Handy Tools on the left pane of this page for each workshop requested (maximum of two). ECELS staff can arrange a Pediatric First Aid Workshop for a group of at least 9 and no more than 18 early education and child care staff. For all other topics, ECELS staff can arrange workshops for up to 30 early education and child care staff. When the workshop arrangement is confirmed by ECELS staff, ECELS will inform you and request payment prior to scheduling the workshop.
The workshop fee is $150/training hour. The number of workshop hours is specified in the workshop description. The workshop fee includes the cost of arranging for a qualified instructor, providing the curriculum and participant materials, and the instructor's fee. A materials fee of $5/participant is required for additional participants when groups include more than 10 for Pediatric First Aid, and more than 20 participants for all other workshops.

ECELS can schedule on-site workshops at a child care facility or at a community facility. The requestor must gather a group and arrange for the space where the workshop will be held.
